<p>A lens and an LED package having the same are provided to enhance light emitting efficiency by forming a gap between an LED chip and a phosphor layer. An LED chip(32) is mounted on a package body(30). A lens(20) is positioned on the package body. The lens includes a color conversion layer(24) for converting a wavelength of light emitted from the LED chip. A disk-shaped groove is formed at a lower end of the lens. A phosphor having a constant thickness is coated on the disk-shaped groove of the color conversion layer. The LED chip is formed with a blue LED chip. The phosphor is yellow phosphor. A filling agent is formed between the lens and the package body.</p>
