<p>The needle (1) has a hook (3) formed in a free end of a needle shaft (2), where the hook comprises a tongue (4) that is supported pivotably between a closed position and a rear position in a needle slot (6) of the shaft by a tongue support (7). The shaft has a back slope (8) with two straight sections (12, 16) formed on the base of the hook upto the tongue support. The section (16) has a pitch angle (beta) that is smaller than a pitch angle (gamma) defined by the section (12). A rounded transition point (13) is formed between the sections.</p> |
