摘要 FIELD: nuclear power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: equipment included in the line consists of installations necessary for processing of fuel element cladding, not depending on fuel element version determined by the method of its sealing. These installations are the following: installation for loading of cladding stocks into installation of cutting, setting of cut cladding size, calibration of one of its ends, control of length, installation of contamination removal from cladding, cladding marking, weighing of empty cladding; installations for cladding processing for electron-beam welding (ELS), which contain installations for calibration of its corresponding end, pressing of plug, installation of ultrasonic inspection of welded seams made by electron-beam welding (ELS), installation of welded seams cleaning, installation for ELS itself and corresponding transport cassette; installations for cladding processing for butt-welding, which contain welding installation KSS and installation for ultrasonic inspection of welded seams made by KSS. At that all equipment of the line is connected between each other with transport modules, every of which by means of sensors installed on them and opposite to every technological position is connected to control system that has two modes of operation, depending on manufactured version of fuel element. KSS installation represents one-piece chamber with system of interlocks that trip the installation in case parameters monitored in welding exceed the preset values and is installed between installations of cladding length control and plug marking. Transport modules that are not used in production of manufactured version of fuel element are accumulators. Installation of welded surfaces cleaning represents combination of mechanisms that provide wiping of welded surfaces of cladding on at least one of its ends with wiping material replaced for every cladding. ^ EFFECT: increases line universality, ecological compatibility of production, costs for production of fuel elements are reduced and their quality guarantee is increased. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg
