DETOXIFICATION TREATMENT METHOD OF ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIAL AND CEMENT MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detoxification treatment method of an asbestos-containing material capable of easily performing the detoxification treatment of the asbestos-containing material by certainly preventing the scattering of asbestos using the wastewater discharged from a semiconductor manufacturing process and capable of treating the wastewater at the same time, and a cement manufacturing method using it.

SOLUTION: Wastewater of the mixed acid based on hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid discharged from the semiconductor manufacturing process is added to the asbestos-containing material and the obtained mixture slurry is subsequently subjected to neutralization while the asbestos-containing material in the mixture liquid is ground to form sludge wherein asbestos is detoxified.
