PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel gas sampling container for combustion test which can be operated safely alone. SOLUTION: This fuel gas sampling container includes a cylindrical container 11 which has the size permitting holding by one hand and has an opening at one end for reserving flammable sampling gas, a tabular lid 42 which has a hole 41 and which can be rotatably fixed so as to cover the opening of the cylindrical container 11 at one end, an opening/closing means 30 which opens/closes the lid 42 in a single operation, a gas leak preventing means 40 which can accept a gas sampling nozzle 50 and which is fixed on the lid 42 so as to block the hole 41 for preventing leak of the sampling gas, and a gas discharge means 20 which is provided to the other end of the cylindrical container 11.
