PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stain-proofing coating liquid which can enhance the weather resistance of stain-proofing layers coated and formed on organic coating films or the like, and to provide a method for forming a stain-proofing layer, using the stain-proofing coating liquid. SOLUTION: This stain-proofing coating liquid containing colloidal silica and aluminum-magnesium composite oxide fine particles is characterized in that the colloidal silica is necklace-like colloidal silica.
