摘要

A gravure printing plate which can enhance not only the appearance of halftone color and the smoothness of gradation in an AM screen but also transfer of ink to the highlight portion in an FM screen and can attain a sufficient density at a shadow portion. A stripe highlight portion main cell of small area is formed at the highlight portion, area of the stripe highlight portion main cell is increased gradually as the gray scale increases in a halftone portion such that the opposite ends of the stripe highlight portion main cell approach and a dot-like or linear halftone portion auxiliary cell is formed additionally on the periphery of the stripe highlight portion main cell thus forming a stripe halftone portion main cell and forming an annular shadow portion main cell at the shadow portion.
