<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic part mounting apparatus and a paste transfer unit, which are capable of being made compact, while ensuring a transfer area of a certain size, where two or more electronic parts can be collectively transferred as targets. <P>SOLUTION: The paste transfer unit which is fitted to the feeder base of a part feeding unit in a freely detachable manner is configured, in such a manner as to be equipped with a base unit 20 of a continuous length, which is fitted to the feeder base in a freely detachable manner aligning its longer direction with a fitting direction (Y direction) that intersects the parallel direction (X direction) of the feeder at right angles; a rectangular film forming stage 24 which is provided, in a freely reciprocating manner in the longer direction of the base unit 20, and a film-forming squeegee unit 28, whose horizontal position is fixed to the base unit 20, provided above the film forming stage 24.
