PURPOSE:To form a slag at a constant rate and to enhance gasification efficiency, by installing a surface slag outlet equipped with a slag reservoir on the bottom of a gasifier body for reserving a molten iron bath. CONSTITUTION:Coal and a gasification agent are injected via non-immersed lance 3 into a molten iron bath 5 reserved in a gasifier body 1. A gas and slag formed in the body 1 are introduced via a slag outlet 2 installed on the bottom of the body 1 to a slag reservoir 7 and the produced gas is separated from the slag by a separation wall 8. After rensible heat is recovered and dust in removed via a recovery duct 4, the produced gas is stared in a gas holder, and the slag in the reservoir 7 is continuously discharged via a slag outlet 9. |
