<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat belt control device capable of preventing the occurrence of interference sound of a tongue and other parts such as an interior trim or slack in a seat belt in a seat belt device using a belt winding spring and a driving motor together. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle seat belt control device controls the seat belt device capable of winding the seat belt for restraining an occupant seated in a seat by the driving motor while having a belt retaining mechanism for retaining the belt at a prescribed winding position. It is provided with a restraining condition detecting means detecting whether the occupant is restrained by the seat belt or not. When the release of the restraining condition of the occupant by the seat belt is detected by the restraining condition detecting means, the seat belt device is controlled to wind the seat belt by the driving motor, and to retain the seat belt at the prescribed winding position by the belt retaining mechanism after the belt is wound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
