<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: jewelled or colored look of a lamp detracts from a fine curve of a chrome bumper, and there is a need for a lamp that cosmetically blends with the chrome bumper. <P>SOLUTION: A lamp assembly formed from a light source, a reflector, and a partially reflective and partially transmissive lens is provided. A mirrored surface is axially oriented to face a field to be illuminated. The reflector includes a perimeter. The partially reflective and partially transmissive lens having a first surface faces the reflector.
