<p>The present invention relates to a process for coloring a substrate from polypropylene, which comprises (A) pretreating a substrate from polypropylene with an aqueous pretreatment liquor comprising (a) at least one resin selected from melamine derivatives, dimethyloldihydroxyethyleneurea (DMDHEU) and derivatives of DMDHEU, and (b) at least one thickener, (B) printing on said pretreated substrate by the ink jet process, and thereafter (C) aftertreating said substrate with an aqueous formulation comprising at least one binder.</p> |
