<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents occurrence of a failure by preventing unexpected ejection of a handle which is stored in an apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is provided with a handle 8 provided to the apparatus body 2, which can be freely moved between a storing position stored in the apparatus body 2 and a projecting position projecting from the apparatus body 2 and which is gripped at a projecting position.
