PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pencil lead which, through the arrangement of functional substances into the pores of the pencil lead, is provided with not only writing characteristics but also various functions other than writing. SOLUTION: In the high-temperature heat treatment type pencil lead having pores, the pores hold the microcapsules of ultra fine particles whose d50 value of the particle size is≥20 nm and≤100 nm.
