PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readjust WB (white balance) by calculating all settable WB coefficient values, associating the coefficient values with image data and storing the coefficient values. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is provided, which calculates not only a WB coefficient value by a default light source but also the whole WB coefficient values, associates the result with intermediate RAW data and stores the result. When a personal computer, etc., readjusts WB, and if a user instructs change of light source setting, a WB coefficient value corresponding to a selected light source is read from the whole WB coefficient values associated with the intermediate RAW data and applied to the intermediate RAW data. Consequently, it is possible to perform highly accurate WB readjustment that utilizes a development processing algorithm and a tuning parameter specific to a device model.
