The metal valve has the valve plate and/or the valve seat provided with a ceramic coating with a layer thickness within the range of 10 to 1000 nm and especially 100 to 220 nm. The material of the coating is selected from oxides of metals of the third, fourth and/or fifth main and auxiliary groups of the periodic system of chemical elements, especially ZrO2. The coating is applied at least on the sealing face. |
