PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processor of structure capable of maintaining the pad pressure easy and appropriate to couple/uncouple a roller. SOLUTION: This medium processor 1 comprises a conveyance path 8 for conveyance of cards 2, a roller 31 capable of abutting on the surface of the cards 2, a rotary shaft 32 integrally rotated with the roller 31, a pair of bearings 33 rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 32 in both ends thereof, bearing support parts 34a formed on both sides of the conveyance path 8 in the cross direction of the cards 2 so as to support the bearings 33, and a pushing mechanism 35 for pushing the bearings 33 toward the bearing support parts 34a in the direction in which the roller 31 is directed toward the surface of the cards 2.
