<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance control system and an operating device capable of controlling and furthermore monitoring electric appliances in other rooms by the operation of the operating device provided in one optional room in a private house, for instance. <P>SOLUTION: The electric appliance control system 1 comprises a plurality of electric appliances 2 and a plurality of operating devices 3 provided individually corresponding to the electric appliances 2 and capable of communicating with each other. One operating device 3 has a relay 22 adjusting power supply to the corresponding electric appliance 2, switches S1-S12 and the like for determining the power supply state (on/off) of relays 22 which the other operating devices 3 have, and a processor 20 for controlling the operation of the own relay 22. The processor 20 is configured to output instruction signals to the other operating devices 3 to drive the relays of the other operating devices 3 based on the operation of the switches S1-S12 and to drive the own relay 22 based on instruction signals from the other operating devices 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
