An automatic brake device is provided to stop automatically when a front vehicle stops and to release a brake automatically when the front vehicle starts by receiving and transmitting random wave forms in pulse widths by an ultrasonic sensor so that interference of an ultrasonic signal is reduced. A drive device is installed at a brake pedal to drive a brake pedal by motor power. A wire is connected with the brake pedal to operate the drive device and operate the brake pedal. When a driver steps on the pedal, or a front vehicle starts at a high speed so that the front vehicle is sensed to be far, the brake pedal is automatically operated. The vehicle speed and the distance from the front vehicle are calculated by receiving irregular signals of an ultrasonic sensor so that the brake pedal is automatically operated by the calculated value. |
