A device comprises means (31) for inputting a broadcasting TS to detect the hierarchical information of each broadcasting TS packet, means (32) for delaying the broadcasting TS, means (37) for inputting an MPEG-TS to be rewritten, means (33) for generating a signal to select the broadcasting TS packet delayed, in case the hierarchical information does not indicate a predetermined hierarchy, and a signal to select the MPEG-TS packet to be written, in case the hierarchical information indicates the predetermined hierarchy, and means (38) for outputting the delayed broadcasting TS packet and the MPEG-TS packet to be written, selectively. The device can further comprise means (34) for correcting a PAT packet of the broadcasting TS, and means (35) for correcting a NIT packet of the broadcasting TS, thereby to output the corrected PAT packet and the corrected NIT packet selectively. |
