DIGITAL PHASE NOISE DETECTOR USING INTEGRATOR

A digital phase noise detector is provided to measure a phase noise by converting period variation in a time domain into a voltage variation using an integration process. A digital phase noise detector using an integrator includes a signal converter(110) and an integration unit(120). The signal converter converts a signal to be measured to a signal to be integrated and an inverted integration control signal according to a predetermined reference signal. The integration control signal is an inverted version of the signal to be integrated. The integration unit integrates the signal to be integrated from the signal converter according to the integration control signal from the signal converter. The signal converter includes first and second flip-flop units and a first delay unit.
