PEAK-FACTOR REDUCTION DEVICE, AND BASE-BAND SIGNAL PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peak-factor reduction device reproducing no peak factor even by an interpolation at the post stage.

SOLUTION: In the peak-factor reduction device, the maximum value of an amplitude component is detected from an input complex signal, and a correction-signal generating section generating a correction signal for reducing the peak factor is supplied with a complex signal passing through a base-band filter for limiting a band and an interpolation filter. In the peak-factor reduction device, the peak factor for the input complex signal is reduced by using the correction signal generated from the interpolated complex signal.
