PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for sealing a sealing region between components or between component portions to which a high pressure medium is introduced through a passage or a passage portion, particularly, a high pressure sealing region between the components or between the component portions of a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine, capable of being inexpensively manufactured with its low-accuracy sealing surface cooperative in the high pressure sealing region. SOLUTION: On an opposed face 15 of one of the components 11, 12 or the component portions located opposing each other at a site on its passage 13 or its passage portion, a recessed site 17 is provided for increasing the inner diameter of the passage or the passage portion. An annular or tubular bush 18 is arranged in the recessed site 17. In a semi-assembled condition, the bush 18 is partially protruded from the recessed site 17 to come into contact with an opposed face 16 of the other component 12 or the component portion. During assembly, the bush 18 is deformed so that the opposed faces 15, 16 of the components 11, 12 or the component portions attach each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
