PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device improving an assemblability while increasing output and reducing size and weight. SOLUTION: A rotating shaft 109a forms a plurality of outer diameter portions (herein, a forth cylindrical portion 109s, a third cylindrical portion 109q, a second cylindrical portion 109p, a first cylindrical portion 109n, and a rotor portion 109e) gradually increasing diameters thereof from end portions to centers. A plurality of components (a magnetic pole portion 257, a rubber damper GP2, a four-point contacting type ball bearing 112, a calking piece 130, and a resolver rotor 222r) having inner diameter portions fitted to the outer diameter portions are inserted in the rotating shaft 109a in an order from the part having a large diameter, so that the plurality of the parts can be easily installed while the rotating shaft 109a is fixed to a jig JG.
