PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type bench cutter constituted compactly and capable of easily cutting members with various shapes. SOLUTION: The slide type bench cutter includes a base part 2 for supporting wood W and a cutting part 3 provided on the base part 2 to support a cutting blade 53 above the base part 2. The cutting part 3 includes a cutting main body part 5 for rotatably supporting the cutting blade 53, a slide part 6 which supports the cutting main body part 5 and can move the cutting main body part 5 in the side surface direction of the cutting blade 53 with respect to the base part 2 above the base part 2, and a support part 4 for swingably supporting the slide part 6 in the direction approaching the base part 2 and separating therefrom. A fine adjusting mechanism capable of finely adjusting the distance between the cutting blade 52 and the base part 2 regardless of the swinging of the cutting blade 52 is provided to the support part 4.
