<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving condition optimizing device, a life characteristic controlling device, an organic EL display device, an electronic equipment, an optimization method for driving conditions and a computer program, for setting optimal driving conditions (a light emission period in a frame and a reference voltage for data line driving) depending on the physical life characteristics of organic EL elements constituting an organic EL panel and their use aspects. <P>SOLUTION: A driving condition memory section is prepared, the section storing a driving condition table that is set depending on the physical life characteristics of organic EL elements constituting an organic EL panel and that associates an optimal light emission period in a frame to a reference voltage for data line driving for each piece of information relating to screen brightness. Driving conditions of the organic EL panel are set by sequentially acquiring the information about the screen brightness through a brightness information acquiring section and reading out the light emission period in a frame and the reference voltage for data line driving corresponding to the information of the screen brightness from the driving condition memory section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
