ORGANIC EL LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic EL light emitting device capable of patterning a plurality of color conversion layers formed by deposition without damaging them. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of an organic EL light emitting device including an organic EL element, and a plurality of types of color conversion layers having pattern shapes different from one another includes: a process (1) of forming the organic EL element; a process (2) of forming the plurality of types of color conversion layers by a deposition method; a process (3) of patterning the plurality of types of color conversion layers by using a laser beam; a process (4) of forming a protective layer absorbing the laser beam used in the process (3). The manufacturing method of an organic EL light emitting device is subject to repeating the processes (2) and (3) for forming the plurality of types of color conversion layers, and executing the process (4) between the process (3) and the process (2) when executing the process (2) after the process 3.
