This invention concerns methods of making attrition resistant molecular sieve catalyst, which incorporate the use of appropriate spray drying methods or techniques. The degree of attrition resistance is affected by a variety of spray drying control variables such as spray dryer inlet and outlet temperatures and rate of drying of catalyst slurry materials.
