The vehicle has a body-fixed pivot axis (12) provided in an area of a rear-sided edge of a cover (10). A lateral supporting lever (50) is assigned to a longitudinal side of the vehicle. The axis and the lever are pivoted at its rear ends around another body-fixed pivot axis (52), and are connected by a joint connection with a lateral area of the cover. An equalizer (57) enables a deviation of a path of the cover from a circular path around the axis (52) during a movement of the cover to release an opening for a roof (16), where the equalizer is formed such that the lever is deformable.
