The composite (1) has an upper electrode layer (7), a lower electrode layer (5) and a luminescence layer disposed between the upper and lower layers. A friction-wear-resistant and partially transparent protective layer is formed as up most layer and is connected with a remaining film composite over an entire area of the up most layer, where the protective layer exhibits a thickness of less than 40 micrometers. A carrier film (4) formed form polyethylene terephthalate is disposed underneath the lower layer. The protective layer is formed as a protective film (8) formed of polyurethane material.
