The toothbrush has a body, which is provided with a handle area, a head area (10) supporting bristles, and a neck area (12) arranged between the handle area and the head area. A mechanical vibration device (18) is arranged in a recess (20) in the head area and is supplied via an electrical connection lines (26'). The recess is closed by a carrier plate, which is provided with a bristle guided through an opening in the carrier plate and fused at a rear side end, where the opening is casted with resin, silicon and polyurethane. The carrier plate is sealed by using electrical lines. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing of the tooth brush. |
