FIELD: preparing of fresh garlic for storage and further usage in space feeding. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves washing preliminarily inspected garlic at predetermined mode parameters in sweet water; holding in suspension of preparation produced from biomass of Mortierella strangulata micromycet by predetermined process; drying; dividing into clovers; wiping with ethyl alcohol solution; exposing to ultraviolet radiation; packaging each 5 clovers in smoking paper and placing in polymer trays. Method allows garlic to be transported to space object and stored there during 45 days to be used in space feeding. ^ EFFECT: prolonged shelf life and improved quality of prepared garlic. |
