PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the interests of players by causing performance symbols normally hidden to appear on the drum when rotating. SOLUTION: When the second performance pattern is selected, the drums are controlled to shift first and second symbols by a specified number of symbols in positional relationship during the rotation of first and second drums (shown in (b)) so as to make the performance symbols arrayed in the opaque part of the second drum hidden with the opaque part of the first drum visually recognizable for players (shown in (c)). After the shift in the positional relationship during the rotation of the drums, the drums are returned back to the previous positional relationship after a prescribed time passes (shown in (d)).
