PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a rear mechanism frame for a game machine, capable of effectively enlarging an opening area in the rear mechanism frame when a rear cover is arranged on the rear surface of the rear mechanism frame. SOLUTION: The structure of the rear mechanism frame 2 for the game machine includes: the rear mechanism frame 2 arranged on the rear surface of a main body frame with a game board attached thereto; and the rear cover 6 for covering the opening area of the rear mechanism frame 2 from the rear surface side. The opening area 20 includes an upper frame part 21, a pair of side frame parts 22, 23, and a lower frame part 24. The rear cover 6 is configured such that an opening/closing fulcrum part 65 in a second side wall part 63 is engaged with a support part 27 in a second side frame part 23 so as to perform opening/closing with respect to the rear mechanism frame 2, and also a locked part 66 in a first side wall part 62 is locked to a lock part 41 in a first side frame part 22 so as to keep a state where the upper part of the opening area 20 is covered.
