COMPOSITE MEDIA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite media communication system wherein both users connected by a VOIP communication system can independently select communication media.

SOLUTION: The composite media communication system comprises: a media translator which translates inputted audio data into designated attached media data in response to a selection instruction indicating a selected attached medium; an audio path setting means which sets a communication path via the media translator for an RTP packet containing audio data exchanged between terminal devices of both the users; an extraction means for extracting media management information containing information specifying a user who desires communication regarding a selectable medium and the attached medium from a message exchanged between the terminal devices of both the users; a translation control means which creates a selection instruction on the basis of the media management information and inputs it to the media translator; and a selection path setting means which sets a communication path for dispatching attached media data generated by the media translator to a terminal of the user designated by the media management information.
