PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building having a storage space superior in easiness-to-use, the storage space in which an article used in a balcony is directly stored. SOLUTION: The building 1 is characterized in that an intermediate floor 3 is arranged on a part of a floor 2 of an upper story 1a (20a); a part between this intermediate floor 3 and the floor 2 of the upper story 1a (20a) is formed as a low ceiling storage room 4 (22); the low ceiling storage room 4 (22) is adjacently arranged to the balcony 5 (21); and the doorway 6 of this low ceiling storage room 4 (22) is arranged by facing the balcony 5 (21). Thus, when storing the article used in the balcony in the low ceiling storage room, the article is directly stored in the low ceiling storage room from the balcony, and outside air is easily taken in the low ceiling storage room.
