<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump for medical use, capable of performing correspondence to patients, and preventing a medical error due to the mistake of the patient/prescribed medicine, etc., by collating whether or not the medicine is the correct one for the patient for prescription by each prescribed medicine. <P>SOLUTION: The pump for medical use comprises: a patient data registering means for automatically registering patient data from a patient information device where patient data are held in a form readable from an external part; a medicine data acquiring means for acquiring medicine data from a medicine information device where the medicine data are held in a form readable from the external part; a storage means for storing the registered/acquired patient data/medicine data; a display part; a patient data deleting means for deleting the registered patient data from the storage means; and a means for collating the patient data registered in the pump for medical use with the medicine data acquired by each prescription, displaying an error message in the display part of the pump for medical use in the case of noncoincidence, holding the message, and selecting whether a dose parameter is automatically set or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
