PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot system and its control method capable of improving safety of an operation while securing highly operational efficiency. SOLUTION: A robot system comprises a moving body detecting means 203 for generating a movement estimation range of a movable section field and attempting to detect a moving body among the movement estimation ranges so that a moving range of the movable section field is estimated by using a plurality of images imaged in sequence by an imaging means 101, and a control means 204 for making a movable section 103 change when the moving body is detected by the moving body detecting means 203.
