<p>A mixture of moisture free non-homogeneous pre-vulcanised particles of ground crumb rubber, obtained from reclaimed tyres, and a low density polyethylene is extruded to produce packaging protection sections 4, 6. The rubber constitutes a major percentage of the mixture. Packaging protection sections used for packing purposes in preference to that of card board, especially when edges and corners, are considered necessary for extra protection. Various shaped sections, such as an equal sided angled section, a hollow square section, a circular hollow section, may be produced.</p> |
