The slip-resistant floor covering includes particles 213 on the upper surface of a plastic layer 207. The inorganic particles 213 are coated with a transparent material. Preferably the clear plastic layer 207 is cured after the particles 213 have been applied. Preferably an adhesion or tinted coating is applied to the quartz, glass or aluminium oxide particles 213. Preferably the floor includes a design layer 217 on a see through base layer 203. Preferably the plastic layer 207 comprises a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastisol or plasticised acrylic. |
