An OLED device and a driving method thereof are provided to compensate for the deterioration of an organic light emitting diode by adjusting the voltage of a gate electrode of a driving transistor. An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Display) device includes pixels formed at a cross section of scan and data lines, a scan driver, and a data driver for sinking currents. Each of pixels includes an organic light emitting diode(OLED), a driver(242), and a compensator(244). The driver includes a driving transistor which charges voltages corresponding to sunk currents and supplies currents corresponding to the charged voltages to the organic light emitting diode. The compensator controls the voltage of a gate electrode of the driving transistor corresponding to the deterioration of the organic light emitting diode.
