An acrylic-vinyl modifier for thermoplastic polyurethane is provided to improve the adhesion, processability, weather resistance, heat resistance and water resistance while maintaining the surface hardness, mechanical properties, transparency, coloring property. An acrylic-vinyl modifier for thermoplastic polyurethane comprises: (a) 40-80 parts by weight of an acrylic-vinyl core containing (i) an acrylate monomer and (ii) a vinyl monomer, wherein the combined weight of (i) and (ii) is 97-99.5 wt% based on the total weight of the core monomers, and (iii) 0.5-3 wt% of a crosslinkable monomer; and (b) 15-60 parts by weight of a hard shell surrounding the acrylic-vinyl rubbery core and containing (i) 20-70 wt% of an acrylate monomer, (ii) 10-70 wt% of a vinyl aromatic monomer, and (iii) 0.5-30 wt% a vinyl cyanamide monomer, based on 100 wt% of the total weight of the shell monomers.
