A terminal information usage system in a communication system and a method thereof are provided to offer terminal information to a contents provider by using an SI(Service Interface) server in the communication system, so that the contents provider can use the terminal information. At least one terminal demands provision of a contents service using terminal information. A terminal information server stores the terminal information. If the provision of the contents service is demanded, a contents server(370) receives the terminal information of the terminal information server, and provides the demanded contents service from the terminal by using the terminal information. An SI server(337) transmits the demand for the provision of the contents service to the contents server, receives the terminal information to offer the received information to the contents server, and provides the contents service to the terminal.
