摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode capable of achieving stably and efficiently at low cost a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery of high performance with high discharge capacity, high charge and discharge efficiency, and excellent cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode consists of a current collector, a conductive material layer installed on the current collector, and an active material layer installed on the conductive material layer. The electrode satisfies any one or both of the following requirements (1) and (2). The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with this electrode, a positive electrode, and an electrolyte. (1) The numerical aperture of the joint surface of the conductive material layer in contact with the active material layer is 5% or more and 50% or less and the active material layer contains an active material including at least an element allowing with lithium. (2) The roughness Ra of the joint surface of the conductive material layer in contact with the active material layer is 0.01 or more and 3.0 &mu;m or less and the porosity of the conductive material layer is 15% or more and 50% or less, and the active material layer contains an active material including at least an element alloying with lithium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
