<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system and a printing method capable of executing automatically transfer processing for the number of printing sheets between users, when the number of printing sheets is requested exceeding an upper limit value of the number of print permitted number of sheets. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system/method is provided with a plurality of user terminals, a plurality of printers, a manager terminal and a print control server connected respectively to a network, and the upper limit value of the number of print permitted sheets is set in each of the users in the printing system/method. The print control server 5 is provided with a transfer processing means 14 for transferring a part of a residual number of printable sheets in the user with the print permitted number of sheets not reaching the upper limit value, for the user requiring the print permitted number of sheets exceeding the upper limit value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
