PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for forming paste film capable of obtaining a paste film with a desired thickness, without having to prepare a plurality of squeegees. SOLUTION: A squeegee holder 10 which holds the squeegee 20 and relatively and reciprocatively moves in the front and rear direction, with respect to a base 3 includes a body part 11 for freely vertically and movably supporting the squeegee 20; cam members (right and left cam boards 13) for supporting projection parts 21, connected to the squeegee 20 with the use of slopes 13b that are inclined in the front and rear directions of the base 3; and a cam member moving means for making the cam members move in the front and rear directions of the base 3 with respect to the body part 11; increasing/decreasing the height from a paste film forming surface 3a in the contact part, between the projection parts 21 connected to the squeegee 20 and the slopes 13b held in the cam members to make the interval between the lower edge 20a of the squeegee 20 and the paste film forming surface 3a change.
