PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain relevant memory saving by compressing incoherent integration values, or, to avoid and attenuate data loss by performing excessive prescaling. SOLUTION: A radio station receiver with a massively parallel array of correlators includes a data compression module 199 to compress the incoherent integration values accumulated into incoherent integration memories 176.
