PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acetic acid concentration detecting sensor capable of accurately, speedily detecting the acetic acid concentration with a simple means. SOLUTION: This acetic acid concentration detecting sensor has a sensor head 2 where an induction clad layer 6 that swells under presence of acetic acid and has refractive index varying according to the acetic acid concentration is formed around a core 3 of an optical fiber 1. The induction clad layer 6 is made of a copolymer of menthyl methacrylic acid and benzyl methacrylic acid, or a copolymer of lauryl methacrylic acid and ethylene glycol dimethacrylic acid.
