PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple lightening surge protection system. SOLUTION: It has the first device 1 which is installed at an outdoor height, the second device 2 which performs the transmission and reception of a signal with the above first device, signal lines 3a and 3b which connect the above first device with the second device, and a protective circuit 21 which has a path 26 for lightening surge that connects the above signal lines 3a and 3b with the grounding wire 12a of the power line 12. The above protective circuit 21 is equipped with arrestors 27 and 28 which block the passage of the above signal and the power source power between the above signal lines 3a and 3b and the above power line 12 and also let go the lightening surge having trespassed into above signal line 3a to the above grounding wire 12a of the above power line 12. The above path 26 for lightening surge is made shorter than a path which leads to the above grounding wire 12a of the above power line 12 via the above second device 2 from the above signal line 3b.
