COLLISION JUDGEMENT DEVICE FOR VEHICLES

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision judgement device for vehicles for judging the risk of a collision with an object at the front by using an index capable of correctly indicating the risk of the collision with the object at the front even in the case of a traveling state wherein an acceleration is generated in the lateral direction of a present vehicle.

SOLUTION: By using a collision risk index TTC_gy whose value increases with the increase of the present value Gy_p of the lateral acceleration of the present vehicle, the risk of the collision of the object at the front and the present vehicle is judged.
